Terms of Use
Version 1.0 | Effective date: 14 September 2026
TNGO and these terms
TNGO is a media and education service operated by The Tactical Nation, Inc., 1111b South Governors Ave STE 51027, Dover, DE 19904, US (“TNGO”, “we” or “us”). General queries go to content@tngotv.com; privacy requests to privacy@tngotv.com; copyright and other content violations to copyright@tngotv.com.
These terms govern your use of TNGO's website, viewing service, Academy and Studio. Read them alongside our Privacy & Cookies Policy, Community & Content Guidelines, Copyright & Reporting Policy and, if you contribute material, Creator / Channel Agreement. When asked to accept these terms, accept only if you agree and have authority to do so.
Age, accounts and access
TNGO is for people 18 or older. You must be at least 18 to use the service and have legal capacity to enter the applicable agreement. This is TNGO's eligibility policy, not a statement that every jurisdiction sets the same age for viewing firearms media. It does not authorise a firearm purchase or other regulated activity.
Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and use only access assigned to you. Tell content@tngotv.com about suspected unauthorised access. Do not impersonate others, bypass security or access restrictions, or use another person's account without authority.
Viewers may watch available content. Academy learners may enrol in available courses and use supported learning features. Studio creators, instructors and brand representatives may act only within their assigned workspace and permissions. A role or account does not itself authorise publication, represent a brand, or grant ownership of content. A person acting for an organisation must have its authority.
Public-interest publishing and constitutional protections
TNGO publishes news, reporting, investigations, education, criticism, commentary and other editorial content in the public interest, including material about lawful firearms ownership, shooting sports, hunting, safety, industry developments and civil liberties.
As a media company, TNGO expressly asserts and reserves the protections of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution for freedom of speech and freedom of the press, together with other applicable constitutional and legal protections. We exercise independent editorial judgment about what to investigate, select, discuss and lawfully publish, and reserve all applicable privileges and defences.
We may report on people, organisations, products and events without implying their participation, consent, sponsorship or endorsement, where that reporting is lawful. We may reproduce and publish material we own, are authorised to use, that is in the public domain, or that we may otherwise lawfully use, including applicable fair use. Media status and public interest do not create blanket exemptions from copyright, privacy, defamation or other applicable law.
Third-party ownership and voluntary participation
Unless expressly identified otherwise on a valid legal basis, TNGO and The Tactical Nation, Inc. do not own media produced by third parties. Ownership remains with the respective rights holders. Hosting, displaying, crediting or making authorised edits to material does not by itself transfer ownership. Any ownership acquired by TNGO must rest on an effective agreement or another valid legal basis, not merely a label or watermark.
Creators, instructors, brands and other contributors choose voluntarily whether to join TNGO, submit material or enter a collaboration. They are responsible for commitments they are authorised to make. Participation alone creates no employment, agency, partnership or endorsement relationship; a separate arrangement and the actual legal relationship govern any different position. Withdrawal follows the applicable agreement and does not automatically cancel existing licences or purchaser rights.
A person depicted or discussed in editorial content is not necessarily a participant, sponsor or supporter. Third-party statements are attributed to their authors unless TNGO expressly adopts them; publication does not necessarily signify agreement. These distinctions do not exclude responsibilities imposed on TNGO by law.
Upload permissions and warranties
Every upload constitutes the uploader's express representation and warranty that they own the material or have all permissions necessary for the uses they authorise, including authority from the relevant account or channel owner. This includes applicable rights in third-party footage, music, images, performances, likenesses and brand material. Disclose limits and disputes and provide reasonable supporting evidence when requested.
Subject to applicable law, TNGO may rely on this warranty. It is not conclusive proof against a rights holder: account access alone does not establish ownership of everything uploaded. The warranty does not enlarge the agreed licence, cure missing rights or excuse action required when TNGO learns of a rights issue. We may hold or remove material, request evidence, restrict access or end participation for false or unsupported declarations.
Uploads start private. Technical checks, rights permission, human review and publication are separate steps. Uploading or passing review does not itself authorise public release or external distribution. The Creator / Channel Agreement defines the limited rights granted by contributors.
Viewing, learning and permitted use
You may use available content for personal viewing and learning within the stated access conditions. Access does not include redistribution, resale, public exhibition or commercial reuse unless separately permitted. Lawful exceptions remain available.
TNGO welcomes lawful firearms, shooting-sports and hunting content. Follow applicable laws, range rules, qualified instruction and practical safety requirements. An online demonstration does not replace appropriate supervision or authorise firearm possession, transfer, carrying or use. The service does not provide a firearm or ammunition checkout; a brand listing or enquiry is not a firearm transaction approval.
Course descriptions identify available content and learning outcomes. Recorded progress reflects learner actions, not verified attendance or practical competence. TNGO does not currently provide verified certification. Any future completion certificate must state what it represents and must not imply accreditation, a professional qualification or a firearms licence unless the specific claim is substantiated.
Do not use TNGO for threats, exploitation, targeted harassment, fraud, unlawful transactions, privacy violations, spam, infringement or interference with the service. Relevant sponsorships, supplied products and affiliate interests must be disclosed with the content.
Fees and service limitations
Free access or enrolment does not authorise later charges. Any paid offering requires a separate purchase summary stating the seller, total price, applicable taxes, access period and cancellation/refund terms before purchase. These terms establish no subscription, application fee, creator revenue share or payout entitlement. Testing screens do not authorise real charges.
Availability can be affected by maintenance, connectivity, provider failures and legal or rights restrictions. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every item suits every circumstance. Where paid access cannot be provided as agreed, the applicable purchase terms and mandatory remedies govern. Nothing here excludes a right, remedy or responsibility that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Restrictions, account closure and review
We may investigate, hold or remove content, limit access or suspend or terminate an account for a policy breach, rights problem, legal duty or material security risk. We consider the evidence and seriousness of the issue. Urgent restrictions may precede notice. Where lawful and safe, we provide the reason and scope of a decision and explain how to request review.
Request ordinary review or account closure at content@tngotv.com. Send personal-information requests to privacy@tngotv.com. Closing an account does not itself cancel a separate agreement, erase lawful retention duties or determine a refund. A review request does not guarantee restoration or suspend statutory deadlines. Copyright counter-notices follow the Copyright & Reporting Policy.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by Delaware law and applicable United States federal law, subject to mandatory protections that apply to you and cannot lawfully be displaced. These terms do not impose arbitration, a class-action waiver or an exclusive court venue. Send service disputes to content@tngotv.com with the relevant reference; this does not restrict available legal remedies.
We will identify revised terms by version and effective date and give notice of material changes through the service or relevant account communications. Where fresh agreement is required, we will request it before applying the change. A revision does not retrospectively enlarge an agreed creator licence or rewrite a completed purchase.
